Schokkerhaven is the windsurfing and wingfoil location in the region. The wind is perfect and with West wind there are nice waves for advanced surfers. When the wind is less strong or comes from a different direction, this location is also perfect for beginners. Should the wind suddenly increase, it is always possible to sail in the bay. The advantages of Schokkerhaven:

• Ultimate surf spot half an hour from Zwolle
• Suitable with many wind directions (with boat for support)
• Deep enough for Foiling
• Nice parking spot

With strong (westerly) winds, this location is not suitable for beginners without an instructor. Also, it is here to watch out for other boats and (freight) traffic (we use vessel finder to keep an eye on the boats).
